Both are folding electric full-body lifts. The biggest difference is simple: one specializes in vehicle transfers, while the other prioritizes traditional full-body lifting in a travel-friendly design.

Both portable lifts collapse into a compact upright profile for easier transportation and storage — and their folded footprints are surprisingly close.
The difference is only fractions of an inch in length and width, and 1" in folded height. Choose based on how you'll transfer the patient, not which lift folds slightly smaller.
Two Lifts. Two Sling Systems.
Both lifts provide full-body support, but they use different sling attachment systems. Choose your lift first, then match it with the correct sling.
Dedicated Clip-Style Sling
This dedicated padded full-body sling uses the lift's clip-style attachment system and includes integrated head support.
Traditional Full-Body Sling
The Take-A-Long uses the familiar full-body sling configuration found on traditional patient lifts, with sling options available for different support needs.
Sling attachment systems are not interchangeable. Always confirm compatibility, sling style, and the correct size before ordering.
