Experienced some difficulty rolling on bedroom carpet

Experienced some difficulty rolling on bedroom carpet. Rolling on regular floor O.K. I will try to load my "wife" into our mini van in the near future after I gain more experience with practice. The tricky part is maneuvering her 170# ( +-)
safely into the side door passenger seat or front passenger seat.
Any suggestions regarding safety are welcome for consideration.

This lift is a GAME CHANGER!!! Super easy to use and feels totally comfortable to the patient. Very easy to use by all our caregivers. I got this to be able to get my 90-year-old father-in-law in the car. It's totally amazing! The only thing I'd change is that the pin for the spreader bar would have a **hitch pin** and not a ring.
